Missions Sunday. Guest Speaker Monte Cox.

Monte Cox has been the Dean of the College of Bible and Ministry at Harding University since 2005. Monte and his wife, Beth, spent ten years planting churches in Kenya. Monte has served as an elder of the Downtown Church of Christ in Searcy since 2002 and was also the preaching minister from 2013-2022). Monte has an M.A. in Missiology and Church Growth from Harding School of Theology in Memphis and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. He has taught Bible and comparative religions courses at Harding since 1992. He is the author of Significant Others: Understanding Our Non-Christian Neighbors (Leafwood 2017). He and Beth have three grown children and four grandchildren.
