Our Beliefs
We believe in God (Yahweh) – the one and only true God.
We believe that God exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is the creator. Everything belongs to Him and is under His control.
We believe that God is holy and good. He is at work in the world to bring about His will.
We believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus as a sin offering for all humanity.
We believe that Jesus has ascended to heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is preparing to return to, once and for all, unite God with his people.
We believe that God reveals Himself to us through the Scriptures, His written Word.
We believe the Scriptures are accurate, reliable, and authoritative.
We believe that the Scriptures should govern every aspect of the life of a Christian.
We believe God created man and woman in his image and for his pleasure.
We believe in free will and that each person is responsible and held accountable for their own sin.
We believe because of sin, we are all separated from God, even though He wants an intimate relationship with each of us.
We believe that Jesus, through his death and resurrection, has brought salvation.
We believe that Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God.
We believe that those who, in faith, repent of sin, confess Jesus as Lord, and are baptized will receive forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit as a gift that lives inside us.
We believe the church is the body of Christ to be an expression of God’s glory and Kingdom on earth.
We believe the church is an extension of the ministry of Christ.
We believe the church is comprised of those who have received salvation in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the sanctity of the worship gathering and Communion, the Lord’s Supper
We believe in the resurrection of the body.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to unite all Christians with the Creator.
We believe that after the judgment, all Christians will live in the presence of God for eternity.
We believe in hell, a darkness outside of God’s presence, reserved for those who reject His grace.
We believe that God desires for NO ONE to be separated from Him eternally, but to receive His salvation.
